Can greek be written in cursive and is it ever used?

Not really. I have been trying to do this since I learned english cursive but to no avail. There are some letters where you have to stop to write the next one, like delta. There are some variations of the letters that make this easier, you can write "π" somehow like "@" and "ψ" like calligraphic "y", but even though I use all of them there are inevitable gaps.

do you mean modern Greek or ancient Greek? Either way no, they can't be written in cursive. However the ancient Greek alphabet used to be written with no spaces between words. Confusing huh?

Ancient Greek is pretty much a dead language, like Latin. People still know it, but they don't converse in it regularly.

Modern Greek is still spoken, mainly in Greece. But some other places too.

Cursive is not a way of changing an alphabet, it is a form of the alphabet used for English. The Greek alphabet is different and has no cursive form.
