Can greek be written in cursive and is it ever used?

Not really. I have been trying to do this since I learned english cursive but to no avail. There are some letters where you have to stop to write the next one, like delta. There are some variations of the letters that make this easier, you can write "π" somehow like "@" and "ψ" like calligraphic "y", but even though I use all of them there are inevitable gaps.
